So was Josie, my mom’s cat. She was such a good sport letting the little ladies dress her. She just sat there, tail twitching, but still sitting!

I scanned them into the computer and copied them for the Little Ladies! They love them and are having a ball pretending how they believe my sisters and I were when we were little. I told them to make some of themselves, a grown up version of me, and Dave to add to the collection; but they seem to be more interested in making fairy paper dolls instead (which they are doing right now).  Perhaps tomorrow we will make some of the characters from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. That would be a fun way to recreate the story! Kudos to Robin for keeping them safe for such a long period of time; I don’t know how she was able to manage that!

 Not only does this family frequently stop to smell the roses, we stop to admire rocks (and stand on the big ones of course)! Fauna’s dainty pose cracked me up!

 Araina loved running up and down the drive with her blue Trader Joe’s balloon! Araina loves blue and finds it to be more girly than pink.

We started our mornings warming up our fingers with colorful dough. I loved Fauna’s bright dough dogs lined up on the windowsill.

Pipe cleaners have always been a favorite in our house, I loved Araina’s simple red balloon made for Felicity.

And finally, today there was a tea party with freshly picked flowers as the centerpiece.

Balloons, pipecleaner art, dough, rocks, tea parties and playing with hair……all classic and simply little girls (and boys too I’m guessing)!
