Life is full over here in Ohio right now. We have been busy with good friends, doing a lot of creating, learning, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring! Could possibly reach 50 degrees tomorrow…..Wahoo!!!!!!! Here’s a little taste of the past week…….
Meet Mr. Jones, the newest pocket pal monster. He is a happy monster that blushes when you smile at him and has a huge heart. Much to the little ladies great distress he has been added to my Etsy shop. 
Look what came in the mail yesterday…..yummy, delicious wool-blend felt!!! I ordered this felt from Wool Felt Central, perfect service and quick delivery. Hurry over, they are having a 20% off sale until March 7.
We have been studying birds lately, learning the differences of families and orders and labeling the body parts (nape, crest, wingbar, etc.). My favorite life science site to study animals has to be Sheri Amsel’s Exploring Nature site. You might recognize her name because she has authored and illustrated many books. Great site full of information and over 5,000 illustrations drawn by Sheri herself.
We have been enjoying the male Eastern Towhee that has been visiting our feeder lately. Occasionally we hear him signing……”drink your teaaaaaaaaaa.” The little ladies have been journaling all about him.
Thinking spring around here and prepping eggs to decorate and make festive. So far only steps 1 and 2 have been done. I will share more of this activity as we go along.

We intended to study birds for a month. Everyone loved it so much, it has stretched into three, and still going strong! Have you seen the plexi-backed nesting house? (I have a link on my blog). They suction cup to a window, so you can watch the whole process of hatchlings. Ours doesn’t have any tenants yet, but we expect some soon! Looking forward to seeing more of your bird study.
This is a true story. I have been so busy I haven’t had much time to check my mail. Tonight I checked the mail and came to your blog to to tell you how much we adore Samantha. Cassi, who didn’t see her prior to her arrival, simply fell in love with her! She wanted her for her very own. I just laughed and mentioned maybe she could ask for one for her birthday, wink, wink. Well, I just popped over to see any new additions to the blog and saw this little fellow and RAN to the shop to order him, just in case someone had the same idea as I. Whew, I am so glad I did. Cassi will LOVE him on her birthday morning, I just know it! And you know what Cali loved most. The bag with the deer! She begged and pleaded to not have to share it with her sisters. She is off finding something special to put in it!

Love Mr. Jones and the table the girls are working at. I love how it is full but not cluttered looking. I want my table to look like that.

We are doing the EXACT same thing with our eggs here..well maybe not the exact as neither are finished but we have blown and are waiting to decoupage…modge podge…and so much more…
