tea, rest and an owl
Thank you EVERYONE for the wonderful get well wishes to Rainy! Fauna and I read everyone of them to her and they really made her smile! We didn’t make it to Georgia today; Rainy was still spiking high temps last night and Dave came home from work feeling pretty bad yesterday! Fauna and I aren’t feeling so hot either, but we keep taking our elderberry syrup and drinking a tea made of sage, thyme, peppermint, ginger and lemon. It tastes so good and really warms us up from the inside out! We have been reading a lot and taking it easy for the past few days. Rainy spent some quiet time today sewing up an owl…her own design with no help from me. She is very proud of him and asked me to post it tonight. I have been working on various posts (more Shakespeare, red clover, pokeweed and goldenrod), but am really having a hard time getting them published. Honestly, I am worn out and lacking sleep. I hope to be in working form after the weekend! I hope everyone is doing well and feeling well; it seems that there are a lot of other blogger families down and out from the nasty little germs out there! Take care friends (and family ;p)!

Mr6 has been ill as well, we have been on a very similar diet- tea, iceblocks and water is all he wanted, but has moved onto yoghurt and soup today and broken his fever.
