old pics of us
My sister Robin came by today and brought some old pics of us as little ones. Here we are with my grandaddy (outside his house in Virginia) in 1981…I’m in the light pink short shorts, Grandaddy is holding Robin and Katrina is in the blue shorts. Katrina’s expression reminds me so much of Araina!!! To this day we LOVE visiting our Grandaddy and Granny in this same house in Virgina.
Here we are in 1979 with my Grandpa outside our house. He was an Ohio farmer of corn and soybeans and had a poultry farm. We have so many great memories of that wonderful farm. He died over 11 years ago and we miss him very much.

This has got to be my favorite picture of Robin. She got these Vidal Sasson overalls for Easter and really hated them, hence her “disgusted” look! This photo has been in hiding for a long time (we have teased Robin for years about it), Robin has finally learned how to share and not take things so seriously!

Hmmmm, I’m pretty sure it was Vidal Sasson…..maybe they gave up on the clothing after the 80′s? Ha, I so loved that feathered haircut. Farrah Fawcett was really big back then; I thought I looked just like her!

Love the pictures! Thanks to Robin for bringing them over for you to share. I still miss my grandparents so much. Our Dad’s father owned a hog farm in Maryland and I just loved following him around. I even got to help feed them once. Was that feed bucket ever heavy for a young child!
Grandad was a Scotsman and Grandmom was a Creek Indian Maid. They had 7 children together and our Mom and Dad had 7 of us. I miss those days of growing up. xxoo
