Time to Breathe
I have had a few friends wanting to know our plans for the possible Georgia move so I thought an update was in order. We haven’t accepted the offer yet and now Dave’s company is trying to sweeten the deal in order to encourage us to make the move. So I guess we are taking a little family trip down to the Duluth area in a few weeks to check it out. It would be a heartbreaking move leaving family and friends behind but you all know how the economy is….we may not be able to turn it down. Ughhh, we’ll see.
I’ll be away from the computer for a few days. My sister Katrina told me that I needed to sit down and just BREATHE for a bit and I have to agree, it’s needed. I have some massive organizing to do also! So I will see you all in a few days. Take care everyone!

Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by! And thanks for your words about the “talent in the family”!
Changes sometimes are challenging; and leave relatives and friends could be heartbreking. Nevertheless, as long as you all are a family, home will be wherever you are together.
Go ahead Lisa, whatever your choice will be, I wish you and the little ladies all the happiness in the world!
Oh, that IS a big decision! Praying for wisdom for you!
FWIW, I’m from Atlanta and it’s a great place to live!
Your page is so bright and cheerful.. I love it! I pray emotional strength for your family as you go through the process of making new decisions.. and for safe travels as well.
XOXO

I was in your same situation in February. It’s very hard to think about moving and leaving friends and family. It’s also very exciting to think about the new place. I hope you can find some peace and a decision when you visit Georgia. Yes, you have to breathe too. I have to remember that when I’m stressed out!
That’s not easy to decide !!! You’re right, you need to breathe… looking for more and more beautiful bugs and flowers… and may be the decision will be an evidence…
Breathing and organizing. Those 2 things sound like they wouldn’t go together but they do! I can breath better in my space when it’s organized & clear.
Good luck on the trip and possible move. You’ll find your tribe wherever you go.
Good luck with your upcoming decision! I hope the little break invigorates you.
Good luck with making the best decisions for your family. Breathing sounds like a fantastic idea right about now…looking forward to seeing what happens for your family.
Good luck with whatever you choose?
Hi there,
Love your site. I grew up in and around Duluth, GA and would be happy to give any perspective I could!

Are those zinnias?
It’s good – and necessary sometimes – to take a step back for a time. Have fun!
I don’t remember exactly where you’re located, but I’m absolutely sure that a road trip will take you (or COULD take you) right through Bloomington, Indiana! Come by and I’ll buy you a snowcone from the snowcone stand that was in John Cougar Mellencamp’s “Jack and Diane” video, and we’ll go swimming in the limestone quarry that was in “Breaking Away.”
I love the flower and bee pictures.! My son is very “into” bees this week.
Have a nice blogging break.
Enjoy putting your feet up! I recommend some chocolate milk with whipped cream on top and a little knitting! Hope the trip goes well! Duluth is only a few hours from us!!
Beautiful photos!
Good luck with this big decision.
Just so.
I’m thinking Breathe myself.

I know it’s not an easy decision to make a big move. I can only suggest not buying a house too quickly. We bought a house immediately when we relocated. Aftera year, we both realized that we weren’t happy with our new location. We loved the house, just not where it was. The housing market was flooded and it took us a year to sell our house.
I wish you the best of luck!! And if you happen to move there before November/December maybe we can get together when Princess and I are visiting LK in SC.
Wishing for safe travels and easy decisions for you and your family.
Cheers,
Christie
