Delightful photographs…. it is so nice to see all this fresh, new green springing to life!
I love this: “we caught the germ of happiness”
Lisa-
No, I grew up in Western New York. I went to art school in Cols and was there about 7 years. My husband went to the same art school, we loved it there. My dh proposed in Deaf Park, we have such fond memories.
We are studying seeds right now. And a new growth scavenger hunt would be great! I love these pictures!
Lots of plants that we don’t have around here!
Becca, how long ago did you live in Columbus??? Were you raised in Ohio?
Super Fun, yes we do. We are on a dead end street, the lots on the street each have 5 acres (former farmland). Lots of rolling farmland still around here and a couple patches of woodlands. It’s very lovely.
Oh, you guys have so much fun outside! Do you live in the country?
I love ginko!!
Another amazing day for you and your girls. Thanks for sharing it!!
Spring is looking beautiful there in Ohio! Have I told you we used to live in Columbus, OH? We miss it, tho love our beloved SW as well.
beautiful shots!
Beautiful pictures! I’m so enjoying seeing all the new growth in our garden, and on people’s blogs, this spring
It must be a tree kind of day.
Yours are beautiful.
I have a buckeye in my front yard near the road. The city planted it there. It took me a few years to figure out what it was. Last summer was the first time it had buckeyes.
Your photos are so lovely. I’m so happy it’s spring!
yes, those airplanes are maple seeds D.
I noticed the red pine too. Ours are more red but few are that beautiful purple like in your picture.
I love gingko nuts and that is one of my favorite shaped leaves. We cook and eat them.
Are the “airplanes” maple? We like playing with them.
I’ll have to post some picture of some trees as I have no idea what they are even though I bought them. *sheepish grin*
What gorgeous pictures! You live in a beautiful place.
isn’t it so lovely seeing everything in bloom again.
great photos. i especially love the gingko leaves.
