"Maybe a Leprechaun Brought Her!"

2009 March 12
by 5 Orange Potatoes

In a house FULL of animals, with an allergic husband…..we don’t need anymore! But look what came to our door last night very hungry, thirsty and craving love……………

This family absolutely cannot leave her out in the cold with a pack of hungry coyotes running around! So she is living in our garage for the time being.

Rainy thinks a leprechaun brought her to us! :)

She is quite social, sweet, chatty and loving for a stray. If any of my Ohio peeps need a new addition to the family…..please give me a call or send an email. I can email more photos.

Thank you for opening your heart and home to another animal. When I was a little girl I had a cat that looked just like your stray. All animals deserve compassion and love especially right now when so many are being abandoned.

We’ve checked with the neighbors, no one belonged to her. She is sweet for a stray, but still timid in the stray like manner and the way she ate……poor baby. Yes, my hubby too is very allergic, but we still have 2 dogs and 3 cats. He has daily allergy attacks, but loves animals so much and wouldn’t have it any other way!

    She’s such a pretty cat.
With her sweet behavior, maybe she’s a lost cat. My neighborhood always has signs up on corner poles looking for a lost cat or dog. Or maybe check the newspaper. You are very kind to take care of her.
I already have 3 strays myself…and I’m allergic, my husband thinks I’m crazy:)

She’s so beautiful! I’m allergic to most animals, yet we still have two dogs and two cats because I just can’t resist them (as soon as they give me the sad eyes, it’s all over…). It’s probably a good thing I don’t live in Ohio or my husband would be talking me down from wanting to take her! ;)

Such a sweet kitty! The leprechun’s always pee “green” in our toilets but they’ve never brought us a stray before. : )

I ADORE your blog and I hope you don’t mind but I’ve featured you and your blog on my blog: pink and green mama.
The article about you and some images of projects you’ve done will be up tomorrow as my Friday Feature blogger.

Well, of course the leprechaun did! He knew who would look out for her. ;)

oh adorable. I use to rescue a cat but after giving her milk and tlc, she scratch me on my shirt. Probably not on purpose but ever after that, I’m not a particular fan of cats.
